ARTS IN MEDICINE PROJECTS
The Arts in Medicine Projects delve into a vast array of artistic and creative interventions, each with the transformative potential to bolster the good health and well-being of community members. These interventions span from the soothing melodies of music, the revitalizing effects of hospital space transformations, the invigorating movements of dance, to the innovative use of creative technologies, the immersive experiences of art installations, and the empowering interactions of art workshops and arts and health training and activations.
Our approach to arts in health projects is deeply rooted in collaboration. We don’t just involve, but actively seek the input and participation of patients, family members, healthcare providers, community members, and other stakeholders. This inclusive process not only allows us to explore the healing power of arts and creativity for patients’ recovery, community and social development, but also to complement healthcare delivery, both locally and globally, in a way that truly reflects the needs and aspirations of the community.
We humanize and translate care through the unwavering support of an institutionalized network of highly trained Interdisciplinary arts and health practitioners. These dedicated professionals are strategically placed in different locations, ensuring that their services are readily available where health and well-being are most needed. Their presence is a testament to our commitment to providing holistic and personalized care.
Vision: Improve patients’ healthcare experience and contribute to the well-being of the community through compassionate and creative measures.
Mission: Our mission is to advance Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing) by cultivating positive connections between patients and healthcare professionals through the power of art and creativity. Our goal is to foster joy through a more creative approach to healing and to ignite hope within hospital and healthcare settings and in the community.
